The wooden dummy (Mook Jong) is a traditional practice tool in Wing Chun and other Chinese martial arts. A typical wooden dummy consists of a round wooden “body,” three wooden “arms,” and a “leg,” which are positioned for practicing Wing Chun techniques. Some other schools use it for their own practice or even have their own unique dummy design.
